What is the S° Series?
The S° Series is our patent-pending monomaterial technology, empowering cellulosic textiles to reach their full potential by adding performance without fossil fuels.
It is durable, windproof, water-repellent, breathable and free from petrochemicals.
The S°Series is FreyZein’s innovative monomaterial multilayer fabric, composed of three layers:
A technical, woven cellulosic surface layer.
FreyZein’s groundbreaking cellulosic membrane (FYZ S9) and PFC-free DWR (TerraShield™)
A flexible and lightweight cellulosic backing.
FYZ S9 is an electrospun membrane made from 100% cellulose.
It can be engineered to be hydrophobic (water-repellent) or hydrophilic (absorbent).
TerraShield™ is FreyZein’s PFC-free durable water-repellent finish (DWR), adding superior hydrophobicity to our products.
