Our journey started with a simple question.

FreyZein started as a fashion brand in 2020. We soon discovered the limits of existing natural fabrics. We explored waxed cotton, high-density weaves, and other traditional approaches, but every solution came with compromises—added weight, reduced breathability, or limited weather protection.
Rather than accepting these limitations, we set out to develop our own solution. Not by compromising performance, but by enabling natural materials to perform in ways previously thought impossible.
Today, FreyZein® creates next-generation natural laminates that unlock the performance potential of lightweight natural fabrics.
Our ambition is simple:
We make natural materials viable for high-performance apparel, while preserving the aesthetics, comfort and character that make them unique.
