What is TerraTech™?
TerraTech™ is our patent-pending monomaterial technology, empowering cellulosic textiles to reach their full potential by adding performance without fossil fuels.
It is durable, windproof, water-repellent, breathable and free from petrochemicals.
TerraTech™ is FreyZein’s innovative monomaterial multilayer, composed of three layers:
Cellulosic shell fabric
FreyZein’s groundbreaking cellulosic membrane (TerraMbrne™) and PFC-free DWR (TerraShield™)
Cellulosic backing
TerraMbrne™ is an eloctrospun membrane made from 100% cellulose.
It can be engineered to be hydrophobic (water-repellent) or hydrophilic (absorbent).
TerraShield™ is FreyZein’s PFC-free durable water-repellent finish (DWR), adding superior hydrophobicity to our products.
